#Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth Series Arrives Digitally for Nintendo Switch on May 21

Idea Factory has announced the launch date of three games in the Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth series, which will be released digitally in North America and Europe on the Nintendo Switch on May 21, 2024.

The games that will be released on the Switch are Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1, Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 2 Sisters Generation, and Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth3 V Generation. The Nintendo eShop pages for each game will be available at a later date.

Compile Heart will release the games on Switch in Japan on May 23, 2024. A Triple Pack of the game series will also be released in Japan, with the Switch versions including past DLC as extra content. The games will be available on the PlayStation 4 as download only. 

Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1+ is already available on PS4, and the other two games for PS4 do not yet have a release date.

Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1 is a remake of the first game in Compile Heart’s Hyperdimension Neptunia series. It was originally released on the PS Vita in Japan in 2013, and in the West in 2014. The game was also released on PC via Steam in 2015. 

Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 2, a remake of the series’ second game, and Hyper Neptunia Re;Birth 3: V Generation, were also released in North America on both PS Vita and PC via Steam.

The recent Neptunia: Sisters VS Sisters RPG was released physically and digitally on the Nintendo Switch earlier in January 2024. The game was also released on the PS4, PS5, and PC via Steam. The Xbox port of the video game was delayed to May 21, 2024 after an initial April 16 release announcement. 

Compile Heart’s Neptunia JRPG franchise started with Hyperdimension Neptunia in 2010. In addition to multiple video game sequels and spin-offs, the series also inspired a 2013 TV anime series from David Production and three OVA specials from Okuruto Noboru in 2019, 2021, and 2022.
