#Patriot Prayer member allegedly attacked 6 cops at rally

The man who was with a Patriot Prayer member when he was shot dead in Portland last summer has been charged with assaulting six cops during a recent anti-mask rally in Oregon, according to reports.

Chandler Pappas, 27, was arrested Dec. 21 in Salem during a rally that the far-right group billed a “flash mob” against COVID-19 restrictions, The Oregonian said.

He is accused in charging documents of spraying officers with pepper spray and carrying an “AR-style rifle” as he joined others in “forcefully and unlawfully” breaking into the state Capitol building, KOIN News said.

He is being held on $250,000 bail on six counts of assaulting a police officer, as well as first-degree burglary, riot and criminal trespass while possessing a gun, court records show.

Pappas gained notoriety in August when he was with fellow Patriot Prayer member Aaron “Jay” Danielson when Danielson was gunned down after a pro-Trump rally in Portland.

“They executed my partner … they hunted him down,” he said at the time.

Killer Michael Reinoehl, a self-described Antifa security guard, was later shot dead when officers tried to arrest him.
