#Ivanka Trump to host ‘fireside chat’ in Pennsylvania

First daughter Ivanka Trump will host a “fireside chat” in the battleground state of Pennsylvania on Friday, President Trump’s re-election campaign said.

“Pennsylvania represents the heart of America, and I am thrilled to once again be able to visit the Keystone State,” Ivanka Trump, the president’s older daughter and a White House adviser, told Fox News on Wednesday. “The people of Pennsylvania know that the president has fought hard for them over the last three years — delivering on promises made, including USMCA, tax cuts, protecting essential manufacturing jobs.”

“And he will continue to fight for them with all of his heart and all of his might for the next four years,” she continued.

The fireside chat will take place in Honey Brook, a town about 50 miles west of Philadelphia with a population of slightly more than 1,700, the re-election campaign said.

A Trump campaign official told Fox News that Ivanka Trump’s visit is being billed as a political event and not a fundraiser.

Last month, she raised nearly $7 million during two benefits in Wyoming — one hosted on Zoom and one involving a fireside chat.

The campaign official also said Ivanka Trump would hit the campaign trail many more times before Election Day.

She introduced her father last month at the Republican National Convention, where she referred to herself as the “proud daughter of the people’s president.”

The president defeated Hillary Clinton in Pennsylvania in the 2016 election by slightly more than 44,000 votes.

A RealClearPolitics average of the polls shows former Vice President Joe Biden with a 3.4 percentage-point advantage in the Keystone State.

President Franklin D. Roosevelt was known for keeping Americans informed about the Great Depression and World War II via a series of radio addresses known as fireside chats between 1933 and 1945.
