#Touken Ranbu Warriors Releases May 24, 2022 for Nintendo Switch

Koei Tecmo America announced that Touken Ranbu Warriors, the first-ever console game in the Touken Ranbu series, will release for Nintendo Switch in North America on May 24, 2022, and in Japan on February 17, 2022. The game will also receive a PC release in Japan. An announcement trailer and presentation video were also revealed.

Touken Ranbu Warriors will recreate the Touken Ranbu world in 3D. The game will feature 15 characters from Touken Ranbu -Online- in 1 vs. 1,000 combat similar to Koei Tecmo’s popular Warriors musou series. Additional details on the game will be revealed at this year’s Tokyo Game Show on October 2. Touken Ranbu Warriors will release for Nintendo Switch in North America on May 24, 2022.

In Touken Ranbu Warriors, members of Touken Danshi have been drifting through time without their master – the Saniwa – to lead them, when they are suddenly attacked by the fearsome History Retrograde Army (HRA). After the initial conflict, the Touken Danshi are approached by the Government of the Time, and sent on a mission into the war-torn Sengoku Era where the revision of Japanese history is already underway. Can the Touken Danshi heroes restore order while restoring the original timeline? The fierce but beautiful battles of the Touken Danshi are finally a reality!
