#DNC night two features Jill Biden, Bill Clinton and a 60-second AOC

Democratic elders and the progressives from the party’s left flank will gather on Tuesday evening for night two of the virtual Democratic National Convention.

Dr. Jill Biden, the presumptive Democratic presidential candidate’s wife, will headline the night of live and mostly pre-recorded videos along with former president Bill Clinton and firebrand New York lawmaker Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

Former acting US Attorney General Sally Yates, Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY), former Secretary of State John Kerry, and Sen. Chris Coons (D-Del), a close friend of Biden, will also appear.

The theme for the second night is “Leadership Matters,” but the appearance of Clinton in the headline speaking slot has raised eyebrows given mounting scrutiny over his friendship with the late multi-millionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein and his now jailed accused madam, Ghislaine Maxwell.

Earlier Tuesday, photographs emerged of Clinton being given a neck massage by one of Epstein’s alleged victims nearly two decades ago while another victim maintains she saw Clinton on Epstein’s Caribbean island — a charge he has denied.

Joe Biden’s sexual assault accuser Tara Reade and Juanita Broaddrick, the Arkansas woman who accused Clinton of raping her in 1978, told The Post they were disgusted by the move.

In a preview of his speech, Clinton hits Trump for bringing “chaos” to the office he once held and accuses him of failing the country on the coronavirus — a rare rebuke from a former president of the sitting president.

“At a time like this, the Oval Office should be a command center, instead it’s a storm center. There’s only chaos. Just one thing never changes — his determination to deny responsibility and shift the blame,” he says. “The buck never stops there.”

Jill Biden will deliver her remarks from a classroom at the Brandywine High School in Delaware where she was an English teacher in the 1990s.

A powerful and polished surrogate for her husband, Biden had her own brush with controversy on Monday when her ex-husband accused her of having an affair with Joe in the 1970s.

Ocasio-Cortez has been given just a 60-second slot to speak, angering supporters of the progressive New York congresswoman who started a petition to give her more air time.

AOC has had a rocky relationship with the septuagenarian presidential candidate, begrudgingly endorsing him earlier this year after Sen. Bernie Sanders dropped out.

Monday’s convention kick-off was dominated by former first lady Michelle Obama’s weighty endorsement of Biden and her scathing critique of Trump — drawing the president’s ire.
