One clip posted by Twitter user @Mike_catlover shows five cars submerged above the wheel or higher as rain pours.
“Morristown, NJ right now. Significant flooding,” he wrote alongside the video.
Elsewhere in the Morris County suburb, City Councilwoman Sandi Mayer filmed gobs of raining falling at a rapid pace, engulfing parked cars amid a ghastly, grey backdrop.
New York City issued flash flood warnings for Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens and The Bronx around 4:30 p.m.
The Big Apple and surrounding areas are due for hot, humid weather all week.
The significant amount of moisture increases the chance of downpours, AccuWeather senior meteorologist Heather Zehr told The Post Monday.
Zehr predicted Tuesday and Wednesday will be muggier and rainier than Monday.
