#Disturbing video shows six young men pummel 12-year-old boy in Brooklyn deli

Disturbing footage released by police this week shows at least six young men pummeling a 12-year-old boy inside a Brooklyn deli.

The clip, made public by the NYPD  late Wednesday, shows the young men punching, kicking and hurling multiple shopping baskets, as well as soda cans, at the pre-teen crouched on the ground of the First Stop Grocery on Marcy Avenue near Pulaski Street in Bedford-Stuyvesant around 5:30 p.m. July 13.

One of the suspects gets in a last stomp on the victim’s head, and  then the whole crew takes off, the footage shows.

The attack left the boy with a bruise on his head, but he refused medical attention at the scene, police said.

It was not immediately clear what provoked the assault or whether the youngster knew his attackers.
