While the streaming platform continues to thrive off of flagship Star Wars series The Mandalorian and anticipates the arrival of its first Marvel series WandaVision in 2021, Disney is looking even further into the future.
In a statement shared via Twitter in conjunction with the live streamed industry event reveals that the company plans to unroll “roughly” 10 Marvel series, 10 Star Wars series as well as 15 Disney live action, animation, and Pixar series as well as 15 new films directly to Disney+.
Over the next few years, roughly 10 @Marvel series, 10 @StarWars series, 15 Disney live action, @DisneyAnimation, and @Pixar series, plus 15 all-new Disney live action, Disney Animation, and Pixar features will be released directly on @DisneyPlus.

This means that streamer will gain about 50 new titles in “the next few years.” The platform already includes a hefty library of originals and old favorites including the smash hit musical Hamilton and all episodes of The Simpsons.
