“Man lying on tracks struck and killed by NYC subway: cops”

A 22-year-old man who was lying on subway tracks in Manhattan Sunday morning was struck and killed by a train, cops said.

The Q-train operator saw the man on the tracks at West 28th Street and Broadway in Midtown around 2 a.m. and pulled the emergency brake but was unable to stop, a police spokesman said.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name wasn’t immediately released.
