#Four men wounded in two shootings across NYC: cops

Four people were wounded in a pair of double shootings across two New York City boroughs on Thursday night, police said.

The gunplay kicked off in Washington Heights at about 6:15 p.m., when a gunman opened fire in a drive-by shooting shooting on 162nd Street near Broadway, cops said.

An 18-year-old man was shot in the ankle and 29-year-old man was hit in the leg, police said. Both victims were rushed to local hospitals and were expected to survive.

About two hours later in Brooklyn, another gunman shot two people outside of a house on Moffat Street near Central Avenue in Bushwick, cops said.

A 25-year-old man was shot in the leg and back and rushed to Brookdale Hospital, where he was expected to survive, authorities said. A 32-year-old man was hit in the hip in the shooting and rushed to Jamaica Hospital in stable condition.

No arrests had been made in either shooting by early Friday morning.
