#Dermot Shea says ‘organized looters’ are stashing bricks to counter NYPD

NYPD Commissioner Dermot Shea tweeted Wednesday that protesters are leaving “caches of bricks and rocks” around the city to counter cops.

“This is what our cops are up against: Organized looters, strategically placing caches of bricks & rocks at locations throughout NYC,” Shea tweeted around 10:30 a.m.

The video of a cop moving blue crates filed with rocks or bricks was originally tweeted by @JackKaplanNY, who wrote that the items were found at Avenue X in Brooklyn. He wrote that the items were placed there in anticipation of protests.

“ANTIFA is way more organized than politicians pretend,” he wrote of the far-left extremist group.
