The depleted Nets are starting to bring in reinforcements.

Brooklyn signed Jamal Crawford on Wednesday, according to The Athletic’s Shams Charania. The team will be without Kevin Durant (Achilles), Kyrie Irving (shoulder), Spencer Dinwiddie, DeAndre Jordan and Taurean Prince — the latter three of whom have tested positive for coronavirus recently — when the NBA tries to resume its season in Orlando, Fla. later this month.

Wilson Chandler also opted out of the NBA restart due to health concerns.

The 40-year-old Crawford, who was not on an NBA team this season, has played for eight teams over his 19-year career, which included stints with the Bulls, Knicks, Warriors, Hawks Trail Blazers, Clippers, Timberwolves and the Suns.

He has averaged 14.6 points and 3.4 assists per game throughout his career, and has been named the NBA’s Sixth Man of the Year three times.
