Denzel Curry has released the lead single from his forthcoming album album Melt My Eyez See Your Future. The Adrian Villagomez-directed video finds Curry wandering across a desert planet and getting into a cinematic showdown with a space cowboy named John Wayne that challenges him. “Walkin” was produced by Dallas producer Kal Banx. Banx has produced songs for J. Cole (“Sunset”), Isaiah Rashad (“RIP Young,” “HB2U”), SiR (“John Redcorn”), and more. Check out “Walkin” below.
Curry announced Melt My Eyez See Your Future earlier this month with a trailer that teased features from Rico Nasty, JPEGMAFIA, slowthai, Thundercat, Kenny Beats, and more. A release date has not yet been announced. Curry’s last solo album was 2019’s Zuu. In 2020, he teamed with Kenny Beats for Unlocked, which received a remix treatment in 2021.
