Tomorrow, March 7, 2023, the time has come: A new cinema highlight with “Demon Slayer” is coming up and this time it’s a little different than “Mugen Train”!

Since 2019, the anime is increasing «Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba» celebrated internationally. After the successful start of the first season, “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train” was released in 2020, a no less successful cinema film that ties in with the first season.

In 2021, a new edition of “Mugen Train” was released in the form of a slightly modified series arc and continued with the “Entertainment District Arc”. Immediately after the last episode of the Entertainment District Arcs the next arc was already announced in February 2022. On April 9, 2023, the “Swordsmith Village Arc” starts on Japanese television and is eagerly awaited.

Before the new arc starts on television, fans can expect the movie «Demon Slayer: To the Swordsmith Village». And it is precisely this film that Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures are bringing to international cinemas. In Germany and Austria, the film will start in cinemas tomorrow, March 7, 2023, in the original subtitles. In some cinemas the halls are almost sold out, even on several days!

The film consists of the last 2 episodes of the Entertainment District Arcs and the first double-length episode of the upcoming one Swordsmith Village Arcs. The already known episodes were remastered in 4K and the background music was remixed. So you can expect about half of the new material in the cinema, while the well-known is shown in new splendor.
