An unexpected trio joins the fray.
Tanjiro Kamado, Nezuko Kamado, and Giyu Tomioka from the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba spin-off series Chuukou Ikkan!! Kimetsu Gakuen Monogatari will be playable characters in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles, the latest issue of Weekly Jump reveals.
These versions of Tanjiro, Nezuko, and Tomioka are not only different in appearance, but also have different skills.
The trio join previously announced playable characters Tanjiro Kamado (Water Breathing), Nezuko Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, Inosuke Hashibira, Giyu Tomioka, Sakonji Urokodaki, Sabito, Makomo, Shinobu Kocho, Kyojuro Rengoku, Tanjiro Kamado (Hinokami Kagura), and Murata.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles is due out for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam in 2021 in Japan and Asia with Japanese and English voice-overs and subtitles. Watch seven minutes of Versus Mode gameplay here.
