#‘Dem guru stiffed us’: Williamson sued

The president of peace and love may soon be facing a judge and jury.

Self-help guru Marianne Williamson, who became a minor celebrity after seeking the 2020 Democratic presidential primary last year, is being accused in an Oct. 14 federal suit by a former campaign vendor of not paying her debts.

Jeff Marshall and wife Jennifer Marshall ran the mom-and-pop data shop, Next Digital Connection, which provided text and phone banking services for the campaign.

While Williamson lived large on the campaign trail, she left the Marshalls with more than $80,000 in unpaid bills, the suit alleged.

“[Williamson] repeatedly failed to pay said funds,” according to federal court papers filed in North Carolina.

Unable to pay their debts, Next Digital Connection has shut down, something Jennifer Marshall told The Post was partly due to the nonpayment of clients such as Williamson.

The two women were once chummy.

When Jennifer Marshall ran for Congress in 2018, Williamson gave her a public endorsement.

Williamson has continued to spend cash from her remaining campaign funds even after the election of Joe Biden last month.

She still owes more than $220,000 to various parties, Federal Election Commission filings show.

Williamson and Next Digital Connection are both defendants in a California federal suit in which another voter-data firm, L2 Inc., alleged that Williamson passed proprietary information to the Marshalls’ company.

After a breakout debate performance at which she warned of “dark psychic forces” plaguing US politics, Williamson raised more than $8 million and eventually employed a staff of 20 operatives across Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina and Nevada.

She is the author of 13 books, including numerous bestsellers.

She’s also lived in a geodesic dome, hobnobbed with celebrities, and officiated Elizabeth Taylor’s last wedding, to Larry Fortensky.

Williamson did not respond to a request for comment.
