The official website for the forthcoming water polo-themed original TV anime RE-MAIN has posted a 60-second teaser PV to introduce its synopsis and main characters.

 

Story introduction:

 

The protagonist is Minato Kiyomizu, who quit playing water polo in the winter of his third year of junior high school after an incident. He enters a high school and one promise leads to him starting playing water polo with the friends he met there. However, the weak and small water polo club is faced with a variety of difficulties…

Masafumi Nishida, best known as the series composition writer for the TV anime Tiger & Bunny, serves as the original story writer, general director, series composition writer, screenplay writer for all episodes, and sound director. Kiyoshi Matsuda (Kumamiko) is attached to direct, MAPPA (Yuri!!! on ICE) works on production. 

 

The TV anime RE-MAIN is set to premiere sometime in 2021.
