#Watch Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak, Brandi Carlile, More Perform “In Memoriam” Segment at 2021 Grammys

Tonight at the 2021 Grammy Awards, Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak performed a tribute to the late Little Richard during the “In Memoriam” segment, playing “Long Tall Sally” and “Good Golly.” Afterwards, Lionel Richie performed Kenny Rogers’ “Lady,” Brandi Carlile performed John Prine’s “I Remember Everything,” and Brittany Howard joined Coldplay frontman Chris Martin for a rendition of “You’ll Never Walk Alone” by Gerry Marsden. Coldplay are nominated tonight for Album of the Year. Their 2019 album Everyday Life is nominated alongside albums by HAIM, Dua Lipa, Taylor Swift, Post Malone, Black Pumas, Jhené Aiko, and Jacob Collier. The band previously won Song of the Year for “Viva La Vida,” Record of the Year for “Clocks,” and are two-time recipients of Best Alternative Music Album (for Parachutes and A Rush of Blood to the Head).

Earlier in the night, Brittany Howard won Best Rock Song for “Stay High,” beating out Fiona Apple, Phoebe Bridgers, Big Thief, and Tame Impala.
