#Bruce Springsteen faces virtual hearing today for DWI bust

Bruce Springsteen will face a New Jersey judge Wednesday for his November DWI bust — when he was allegedly spotted downing a shot of Patron with fans in a federal park.

“The Boss” will be arraigned by Judge Anthony Mautone at a virtual hearing in federal enclave court at 11 a.m.

News broke earlier this month of the “Glory Days” rocker’s Nov. 14 arrest at Gateway National Recreation Area in Sandy Hook, when he admitted to cops that he took two shots of tequila before hopping on his motorcycle.

Springsteen, 71, allegedly refused to take a breathalyzer when he was confronted by a park ranger near the park’s historic lighthouse.

In an affidavit, the ranger, RL Hayes, wrote that the famous singer “smelt strongly of alcohol coming off his person and had glassy eyes” and allegedly failed a field sobriety test.

His blood-alcohol content was recorded at 0.02 — below the state’s legal limit while driving of 0.08 — though it was unclear when the test was eventually administered.

Springsteen is charged with DWI, reckless driving and consuming alcohol in a closed area.

He is being represented by Mitchell Ansell, a New Jersey-based attorney who also repped accused Colts Neck murderer Paul Caneiro.

Neither Springsteen nor Ansell have publicly commented on the arrest.
