#Square Enix Licenses 7 New Manga & Soul Eater Art Book for Release in Fall 2025

Square Enix has announced several new manga and art book licenses for English-language publication from the Square Enix Manga & Books imprint in Fall 2025. The announcements were made at the company’s industry panel at New York Comic Con 2024. 

In addition, the Soul Eater: Soul Art Encore! art book will be released in October 2025.

Here are the details for the new licenses: 

Dragon Quest: The Mark of Erdrick

Story: Chiaki Kawamata

Art: Kamui Fujiwara

A stunning rendition of the beloved classic video game series Dragon Quest, published in a collectors’ edition featuring full-color pages. 

The first volume is scheduled for release in September 2025 and will be available for pre-order in December 2024

Synopsis: 

Many years have passed since the legendary hero Erdrick and his companions defeated the forces of evil. But after a century of peace and prosperity, the world is once again under threat.
