#Pokémon HOME to Open Up Legends: Arceus, Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl Compatibility ‘Soon’

“Pokémon HOME to Open Up Legends: Arceus, Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl Compatibility ‘Soon'”

Legends: Arceus

For those who like to collect ’em all and store all your caught ‘Mons in the Pokémon HOME service, the franchise announced yesterday that the service will be expanding its compaitiblity “soon.” When that “soon” is hasn’t been announced. The details on how the time-travelling Pokémon from the Hisui region will work in the modern story.

Pokémon brought to Pokémon HOME from Legends: Arceus and then moved to Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl or Sword and Shield (they cannot be moved to the Let’s Go! games, but can be moved up from them), will have different moves than when they were in Hisui, with the moves being based on their level. The same happened when moved from Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl or Sword and Shield to Legends: Arceus. Though, if transfered back to their original games, the Pokémon will remember their original moves.

Only Pokémon avaiable in those games Pokédexes will be able to transfered to other games, so no Hisuian Zoroark in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl or Sword and Shield.

Due to the “history” of the PokéBalls in Legends: Arceus, when Pokémon caught in Hisui are moved to Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl or Sword and Shield, they will be in a Strange Ball instead, which can be seen below. The Pokémon will retain their balls in Pokémon HOME.

Moving Pokémon from Legends: Arceus into Pokémon HOME will unlock Rowlet, Cyndaquil, and Oshawott with maximum effort levels, with Pokémon from Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl netting trainers Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup with Hidden Abilities.

I for one am excited to finaly be able to move all my Pokémon from Legends: Arceus into Pokémon HOME and save space on the ranch.
