#Crunchyroll Movie Night at Home Series Launches May 1 in the UK and Ireland

Anime fans in the UK and Ireland are in for a treat this year. May 1 marks the official kickoff of Crunchyroll Movie Night at Home in the regions, bringing with it a new anime film premiere on the 1st of every month for the next 12 months. Select films will also be available to Crunchyroll members in the US, and it all starts with Penguin Highway. 

Penguin Highway will be available for the entire month of May. Here’s the official synopsis:

In “Penguin Highway”, Aoyama-kun is an intelligent and studious 4th grade student who is constantly jotting down everything that he learns in his notebooks. He is also on good terms with “Onee-san”, a young lady who works at the dental clinic that Aoyama-kun goes to. Aoyama-kun is shocked one day when he encounters a penguin in the middle of his suburban town, which is nowhere near the sea. The mystery only deepens when Aoyama-kun observes “Onee-san” tossing away a can of cola, only for the can to turn into a penguin!

Every film will be on Crunchyroll for a month until the next film rolls around at the start of the following month. Check out the full lineup below.
