#World Trigger Stage Play Unveils Four More Cast Visuals

The official website for “World Trigger the Stage,” the forthcoming stage play adaptation of Daisuke Ashihara’s sci-fi action manga World Trigger, has posted four more cast visuals – Himika Akaneya (Laala Manaka in PriPara) as Shiori Usami, Kosuke Kujirai (Kaoru Kaido in The Prince of Tennis musicals) as Takumi Rindo, Koji Kominami (Koji Mihama in KING OF PRISM stage plays) as Jun Arashiyama, and Misato Kawauchi (Yuu Koito in Bloom Into You stage play) as Ai Kitora.

Message from Himika Akaneya (Shiori Usami):

“When I was asked to be a part of the stage play, I checked the original manga and the anime. I was quickly fascinated by the world of World Trigger. With an exciting feeling as a fan, I strongly felt that I want to live in this world as an actor, and also want all World Trigger fans to experience it! With Shiori Usami-chan’s endless kindness, and flexible heart and brain, I will do my best to support everyone in their fight!” 

Message from Kosuke Kujirai (Takumi Rindo):

“While paying respect to the wonderful original manga, I will do my best on stage to express the easygoing atmosphere that Takumi Rindo has and his somewhat mysterious part.”

Message from Koji Kominami (Jun Arashiyama):

“World Trigger has been very popular with its manga, anime, and game. I am very happy to be able to live in the world with this stage play adaptation. I would like to do my best to create the show while receiving various stimuli from the people I have worked with in the past and the people I know by name but will be working with for the first time.” 

Message from Misato Kawauchi (Ai Kitora):

“I feel very honored to be able to be involved in the series that I myself also love. I would be very happy if you could experience the dynamic and fascinating world of World Trigger at the theater! Look forward to it!

“World Trigger the Stage” is scheduled to be performed in Tokyo and Osaka from November to December 2021. Norihito Nakayashiki, known for his writing works for the successful stage play series Hyper Projection Engeki Haikyu!! from 2015 to 2021, serves as the writer/director.

• Yuuma Kuga: Keisuke Ueda (31 / Manami Sangaku in Yowamushi Pedal stage plays)
• Osamu Mikumo: Takuya Mizoguchi (25 / Shin Oikawa in Dream Festival!)
• Yuuichi Jin: Kensuke Takahashi (26 / Daichi Ozora in Ultraman X)
• Chika Amatori: Arisa Sonohara (19 / Asahi Minato in Ultraman R/B)
