The workers inside the bottle shop couldn’t capture the macaque.

Locals said the monkey, which is known in the area, developed a taste for the sauce after finding a not-quite-empty bottle of wine, according to the Star.

During the booze battle, a staffer tried to stop the monkey and was bitten in the process.
