Voice actress Hiyori Nitta is joining the voice cast of the romantic comedy anime The Ice Guy and His Cool Female Colleague as Yukimin. The series is expected to premiere sometime in 2023. 

Nitta joins Yui Ishikawa as Fuyutsuki-san, Chiaki Kobayashi as Himuro-kun, Yumi Uchiyama as Komori-san, and Kouki Uchiyama as Saejima-kun. Additional voice cast members include Ayane Sakura as Otonashi and Shuugo Nakamura as Katori-kun, which was revealed last week.  

Mankyuu (The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls Theater) is serving as director for the anime series with Tomoko Konparu (Love All Play) as series screenwriter, Miyako Karino (Dive!! main animator) as character designer, and Ruka Kawada (Kiniro Mosaic Thank you!!) as music composer. ZERO-G and Liber are in charge of the animation production. 

The Ice Guy and His Cool Female Colleague manga series was first launched by Miyuki Tonogaya on July 12, 2019. It is currently serialized in Square Enix’s Gangan Pixix magazine, with six tankoubon volumes having been released in total so far under the Gangan Comic Pixiv label.

Comikey has released the manga in English digitally and describes the synopsis as:

Himuro-kun is a living descendant of the Snow Woman from Japanese folklore. But anytime he’s around his eccentric yet kind colleague, Fuyutsuki-san, he totally freezes up! Despite the snowstorm of love that rages on in his heart, and her complete cluelessness, will he take a step forward or stay frozen in place?
