A 2023 release date for The Ice Guy and His Cool Female Colleague anime adaptation has been revealed with a teaser trailer and visual. The trailer and visual feature the lead characters Fuyutsuki-san (Yui Ishikawa) and Himuro-kun (Chiaki Kobayashi).

The Square-Enix published manga by Miyuki Tonogaya began in 2019 and is serialized on Gangan Pixiv. Six tankoubon volumes have been released under the Gangan Comic Pixiv label as of June 2022.

Himuro-kun is a living descendant of the Snow Woman from Japanese folklore. But anytime he’s around his eccentric yet kind colleague, Fuyutsuki-san, he totally freezes up! Despite the snowstorm of love that rages on in his heart, and her complete cluelessness, will he take a step forward or stay frozen in place?

Mankyuu (The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls Theater) is directing with Tomoko Konparu (Love All Play) as series composer, Miyako Karino (Dive!! main animator) as character designer, and Ruka Kawada (Kiniro Mosaic Thank you!!) as music composer. Zero-G is co-producing with Liber.
