#Corey Conners hits stunning hole-in-one at the Masters

Corey Conners found the best way to shave a few strokes off his score at the Masters.

Conners, 29, aced the sixth hole during third-round play Saturday. It’s a 182-yard, par-3 that Conners parred on Thursday and Friday.

The drive took one big bounce, one small bounce and rolled into the flag and knocked into the cup. It lowered his score to 5-under par and vaulted him into fourth place at the time.

Conners high-fived his caddy and waved to the clapping crowd after just the sixth hole-in-one on the sixth hole in tournament history. The last was by Jamie Donaldson in the first round in 2013.

It was the second hole-in-one of the week, joining Tommy Fleetwood’s masterful shot on the 16th hole in the first round. There have been 33 total aces at the Masters and the 16th hole is responsible for 23 while the sixth hole is the next-most likely spot to score a “one,” according to USA Today.

Conners followed up with a birdie on the seventh hole.
