#Classic Stars Highlights “Dis=Cord” Band in New Character Visual & Trailer, Premieres April 2025
A new character visual and PV trailer have been revealed for the upcoming Classic Stars TV anime series, which highlights members of the dark in-universe band Dis=Cord. The anime is scheduled to premiere in Japan in April 2025.
The additional cast revealed for members of Dis=Cord include:
- • Taku Yashiro as Lost Beethoven
- • Takuya Sato as Lost Vivaldi
- • Ayumu Murase as Lost Shumann
- • Daisuke Namikawa as Ao Miharagi
They join previously announced cast members that consist of:
- • Yuma Uchida as Beethoven
- • Kento Ito as Mozart
- • Shun Abe as Chopin
- • Shoya Ishige as Liszt
The character trailer also highlights the anime’s main opening and ending theme songs. The opening theme is “Singularist” by Yuma Uchida and the ending theme is “BEYOND★CLASSIC” by Gran★Mystar (consisting of voice cast members Uchida, Ito, Abe, and Ishige).
Hideaki Oba (Love of Kill, I’m in Love with the Villainess) is directing the anime, with Shingo Nagai (High Card) as screenwriter and scriptwriter, UNISON‘s Motoko Yoshida as original character designer, and Yoko Sato as character designer. Elements Garden members Hitoshi Fujima, Ryota Tomaru, and Yusuke Takeda are serving as the music composers. Platinum Vision is handling the animation production.
UNISON and King Records are credited with the original work. Noriyasu Agematsu is credited with the original planning, and serving as executive producer and music producer for the project.
King Records, Unison, Broccoli, and King Amusement Creative first announced the Classic Stars series in 2018 as their second mixed-media project after the success of Uta no Prince Sama.
Classic Stars takes place at an elite school called Gloria Private Academy, where the very best students are gathered and educated in the music, arts, and sports fields. The school’s music department is made up of students gifted with the skills of famous musicians, who are then bestowed their names and musical skills. The story follows Beethoven — a student who finds that he is compatible with his namesake’s “Gift.”
