#Circle Jerks Announce 40th Anniversary Group Sex Reissue

Circle Jerks’ debut album, 1980’s Group Sex, turns 40 this year. To mark the occasion, Matt Pincus and Joe Nelson’s new label called Trust Records has announced that the album will be reissued on October 30. The 15-minute record is the first release from Keith Morris (OFF!) after leaving Black Flag. Find a trailer for the release below.

The collection features new packaging by Nirvana’s Nevermind designer Robert Fisher, a bonus 1980 rehearsal recording, and a 20-page book featuring unreleased photos and some words from Ian MacKaye, Tony Hawk, Mike Patton, Shepard Fairey, and Lars Frederiksen.

“Before they had a name for the label Matt and Joe came to [us] with an opportunity of a lifetime,” Morris said in a statement. “So choosing the name Trust Records is very appropriate as they’ve been nothing short of trustworthy and people of their word. That’s insanely important when navigating through the music branch of showbiz world!”
