#Love Live! Superstar!! Teaser Trailer Previews Its Characters In Motion

Upcoming idol anime Love Live! Superstar!!. which is set to premiere in July, has received a new teaser trailer. Although unvoiced, the teaser offers a preview of the show’s characters’ personalities through their mannerisms and body language. 

Love Live! Superstar!!‘s premiere window was announced in February, while the show itself was announced in January with the tagline, “Watashi o Kanaeru Monogatari.” The anime is set in an all-girls high school called Yuigaoka and will follow five freshmen who form an idol group. The group’s name, Liella, was decided in September 2020 via a vote. 

The staff includes Takahiro Kyógoku (Land of the Lustrous) as director, Juuki Hanada (Granbelm) as series composer, Yúhei Murota (Love Live! Sunshine!!) as original character designer, Atsushi Saitó (BLACKFOX) as character designer, and Yoshiaki Fujisawa (Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation) as music composer. Meanwhile, the cast includes Sayuri Date as Kanon Shibuya, Liyuu as Tang Keke, Nako Misaki as Chisato Arashi, Naomi Payton as Sumire Heanna, and Nagisa Aoyama as Ren Hazuki. 

Liella’s debut single, “Hajimari wa Kimi no Sora,” (“The Beginning is Your Sky”) received a music video on January 30. The music video will be available for purchase from April 7 via two releases with slight B-Side variations, “Minna de Kanaeru Monogatari” (“A Story Brought To Life By You”) and “Watashi o Kanaeru Monogatari.”
