ProSieben MAXX is broadcasting the anime film “Okko and their ghost friends” tonight!

Another Friday, another TV-Premiere: Also tonight, ProSieben MAXX is spoiling anime fans with a new film. This time the free TV channel shows «Okko and her ghost friends» one 8:15 pm for the first time on German television.

This is what the film is about:

Little Oriko Seki, just called Okko by everyone, has just survived a car accident unharmed and moves in with her grandmother Mineko, who runs a traditional hostel. Once there, she somehow slips out that she wants to be Mineko’s successor. She has only parroted the words of the little ghost boy Uri-Bo, whom only she can see. Because of course Okko has absolutely no idea about her grandmother’s work. While the young innkeeper tries to serve guests in a kimono and to fulfill the wishes of the very idiosyncratic visitors to the Harunoya, Uri-Bo is always at her side. He allies himself with Okko against her classmate Matsuki, because the ambitious daughter of the luxurious Shuuko hostel always knows everything better. But Uri-Bo is by no means the only ghost who accompanies her in her new life.
