#Helena Deland and Ouri Detail Hildegard Album, Share New Song: Listen

Helena Deland and producer/multi-instrumentalist Ouri have detailed their debut Hildegard album. The self-titled record is out June 4 via section 1. Check out the video for new song “Jour 1” below.

The duo says “Jour 1” is “about processing by partying, and the clarity that sometimes comes with it.” Recorded over eight days in 2018, each of the eight tracks on Hildegard is named for a day the duo spent together. They drew inspiration from Hildegard of Bingen, a 12th century nun and writer who has influenced countless records, by the likes of Grimes, Devendra Banhart, Hen Ogledd, and Laura Cannel. Deland and Ouri previously shared the single “Jour 2.”
