#One man killed, five injured amid overnight shootings in NYC

A man was shot and killed and five others hurt in four separate shootings overnight, police said.

The late-night gunfire began in Bedford-Stuyvesant around 10:30 p.m., when two men sitting in a Jeep Grand Cherokee in Brooklyn were struck as they were parked at the corner of Marcus Garvey Boulevard and Monroe Street, cops said.

One victim, 37, was pronounced dead at Interfaith Hospital and a second was in serious but stable condition at Kings County Hospital, while a second man, 35, was in serious but stable condition at Kings County Hospital.

Four bullet holes could be seen in the passenger’s side window, according to photos of the scene which also showed a pink flat-bill hat on the sidewalk surrounded by crime scene tape.

In Harlem, near Frederick Douglass Boulevard and West 153rd Street around 11:40 p.m., a 16-year-old was shot in the torso. The unnamed victim was in stable condition at Harlem Hospital, authorities said.

About 30 minutes later, in the Stuyvesant Gardens Houses in Bed-Stuy, a 34-year-old man was shot in his left ankle, police said.

In a fourth shooting, two women were hit by bullets near 137th St and Riverside Drive in West Harlem around 3:40 a.m., including a 40-year-old shot once in the arm and a 33-year-old who suffered a graze wound.

No arrests have been made in any of the shootings.
