#Chargers could be next team cured by winless Jets

The Jets have become the “get right” opponent for teams this season. If your team is struggling, just play the Jets and you will be cured.

The Chargers are the latest opponent hoping that seeing the Jets on the schedule is what fixes whatever ails them. The Chargers have lost three games in a row, a few in brutal fashion. They must be thrilled to see the 0-9 Jets coming.

The Patriots were riding a four-game losing streak, their longest since 2002, when they came to MetLife Stadium last week. It looked like the streak might hit five for a while, but they took over the fourth quarter and found a way to win. This week, they beat the Ravens, showing they have been revived.

The Bills limped into MetLife Stadium last month losers of two games in a row. They kicked six field goals to beat the Jets and are a Kyler Murray miracle away from winning their last three games since then.

Those Cardinals were scuffling when they faced the Jets in early October. They had lost two straight and there were questions about their offense. A 30-10 win over the Jets fixed things and they have won four of their last five games.

The Broncos were 0-3 before playing the Jets on Oct. 1. Denver won that night and the following week in New England before reverting back to form, proof the Jets elixir does not last long for everyone.

Still, the Chargers will get to see if playing the Jets is their panacea as it has been for so many teams this year.
