“#‘Certified young person’ Paul Rudd implores millennials to wear a mask”

The 51-year-old star dressed up as a “certified young person” — leaning in to social media jokes about his still-youthful look — saying that Cuomo, whom he calls “Cuoms,” tasked him with telling young people to take precautions amid the pandemic.
“A few days ago I was talking on the iPhone with my homie Governor Cuomo, and he’s just going off about how us millennials need to wear masks. Because, get this, apparently a lot of COVID is transmitted by us millennials,” Rudd deadpans.
Wearing a flat-brimmed cap, yellow hoodie by Tyler the Creator and holding a skateboard, Rudd goes on to say that “Cuoms asked me, he’s like ‘Paul you gotta help, what are you like 26?’ and I didn’t correct him.”
He then unleashes a slew of millennial jargon like “yeet,” “twitch” and “dank,” and calls masks “totally beast.”
“Slide that into your DMs and Twitch it,” Rudd says, before pulling out a double-necked guitar and playing a riff.
He also calls on New York’s youth to take part in a “Stop the pandemic” and a “Save grandma” social media challenge.
Rudd then starts beatboxing “just wear a mask” before saying: “Just wear a mask, it’s easy, it’s simple!”
“I shouldn’t have to make it fun. It’s science. It’s science UGH.”
