“Cardi B Breaks Down ‘Tomorrow 2’ Lyrics: ‘I Am Fighting You Over That Dick’”

On Thursday (December 29), Cardi shared a video of herself on Twitter, explaining that she’s been hearing all the rumblings over the line on “Tomorrow 2” where she says: “I’m fighting for my bitches and I’m fighting over dick, too.”
The leader of the Bardi Gang made it very clear the message behind the line isn’t hard to understand: she’s going to fight for whatever is hers, whether it be a man, money, friendships or more.
“I been seeing a lot of tweets going viral talking bout, when Cardi say [‘I’m fighting for my bitches and I’m fighting over dick, too‘] they not feeling her like that,” Cardi B says in the clip. “But this is my thing. If a bitch go through your purse and she steal some of your money, you not gonna fight that bitch? Yeah, bitch. You gonna fight for your money, right? So, if a n-gga is providing for you, giving you money, paying your bills, doing all that shit. And a bitch go take him from you, you not gonna fight over that dick?”

She continued: “‘Cause that’s your money. ‘Cause that n-gga’s your money. You not gonna fight for that? Bitch, ’cause I’m fighting with teeth. I’m biting you, bitch, over my n-gga. Yes, I am. Fighting you over that dick. Now, if it’s a broke n-gga, bitch, I can’t help you. You deserve charges. You deserve a whole restraining order.”
She added in a follow-up post: “Y’all talkin bout y’all won’t fight over dick but y’all be fighting over celebs online all the time ….somebody lying.”

“Tomorrow 2,” which was released in September and came with an accompanying music video directed by Diesel Filmz that sees Cardi B and GloRilla running amok all over New York City.
The song won Best Collaboration at the 2022 HipHopDX Awards beating out Jack Harlow’s “Churchill Downs” featuring Drake, Benny The Butcher’s “Johnny P’s Caddy” featuring J. Cole, Westside Gunn’s “Science Class” featuring Busta Rhymes, Raekwon, Ghostface Killa and Stove God Cooks and the 6 God’s “Jimmy Cooks” featuring 21 Savage.
Meanwhile, Cardi B’s recent legal victory where she was found not liable for using a man’s back tattoo for an album cover is being upheld by a California federal judge.
The lawsuit was related to the cover of her 2016 mixtape Gangsta Bitch Music Vol. 1, in which body art model Kevin Brophy Jr. claimed Cardi used his back tattoo and likeness without his permission.
Brophy had sued Cardi for $5 million, but the jury ultimately sided with the Bronx rap star. Brophy then filed to overturn the verdict, but on Wednesday (December 28), U.S. District Judge Cormac J. Carney ruled that the request came too late and lacked merit.
He also ordered Brophy to begin paying the rapper’s attorney’s fees and costs, which are unlikely to be cheap.
