#Vinland Saga Season 2 TV Anime Confirmed to Be In Production

At a special event for the second anniversary of the Vinland Saga TV anime tonight, it was confirmed that a second season in production. A teaser visual was released featuring Thorfinn was released alongside a video looking back at the journey so far.

It was also announced that Shuhei Yabuta will be returning to the series as director, with Takahiko Abiru also returning as the character designer. No other staff or studio was announced for the second season, nor was a release date. The staff of the series, including original manga creator Makoto Yukimura, released special illustrations to celebrate the news.
