#”One Piece” was censored in the Loguetown Arc

In this report we take a closer look at the censorship carried out by 4Kids in the States in the Loguetown Arc of “One Piece”.

This year we already have, among other things reported about ithow violent the Baratie Arc (the first meeting with Sanji) of «One Piece» were censored in the US. In the latest article we want to dedicate ourselves to another arc of this dark past of censorship: the so-called “Loguetown Arc” (Episodes 45-62 of the first season according to German counting, which ran in 2003 on RTL2). This includes the episodes when Luffy, Sanji and Usopp first met the princess Vivi, who wants to save her kingdom of Alabasta from ruin. Since all crazy retouching and censoring would go beyond the scope of a simple article, we have selected the five worst and simply unnecessary censorship of the Arc and present them to you at this point. We wish you good amazement – hold on tight!

Hawk’s Eye is way too dangerous for US kids

Yeah, the hawk-eye has a really dangerous sword on his back. The US youth protection agency broke out the censorship brush in Paint and resized the old part a bit. Because a small sword is surely less dangerous ?!
