The production team for D4DJ All Mix — the second season of the D4DJ anime series — has announced that it will premiere sometime in January 2023. A new key visual featuring a wide cast of characters has also been unveiled and Sanzigen is returning to handle the animation production.
News of the production of D4DJ All Mix was first announced in April 2022, with a stand alone episode titled D4DJ Double Mix also airing the following August.
Most of the production team from the first season, D4DJ First Mix, are returning to work on the second season. That includes Seiji Mizushima (Beatless) as chief director, Daisuke Suzuki (D4DJ Double Mix) as series director, and Gou Zappa (How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom) as series screenwriter. Yachie is credited with original character designs while Takuya Chanohara (D_Cide Traumerei the Animation) and Yuuka Hachimori (BanG Dream! Morfonication) are handling the animation character design. Ryouhei Sataka (Gleipnir) is returning to compose the anime’s musical score.
All voice cast members from the first season will be reprising their respective roles. The voice includes Yuuka Nishio as Rinku Aimoto, Karin Kagami as Maho Akashi, Haruka Mimura as Muni Oonaruto, and Kanon Shizaki as Rei Togetsu.
D4DJ First Mix aired from October 30, 2020 to January 29, 2021 and ran for 13 episodes. Bushiroad is credited with the original work and production credits. It was streamed worldwide on various services such as Crunchyroll, Funimation, and Sentai Filmworks. The latter also has home video distribution rights for the series.
The D4DJ franchise has inspired numerous manga, games, live events, and concerts. A short spin-off series titled D4Dj Petit Mix also aired from February to July 2021.

Having moved back to Japan from abroad, Rinku Aimoto transfers to Yoba Academy where DJing is popular. She is deeply moved by a DJ concert she sees there, and decides to form a unit of her own with Maho Akashi, Muni Oonaruto, and Rei Togetsu.
While interacting with the other DJ units like Peaky P-key and Photon Maiden, Rinku and her friends aim for the high stage!
