#Braves’ Marcell Ozuna injured after wife allegedly hit him with soap dish

The wife of the Atlanta Braves’ Marcell Ozuna was busted on domestic battery charges for allegedly hitting the outfielder with a soap dish, according to a report.

Ozuna suffered a “small laceration” to his face in the scuffle with his wife, Genesis, Miami radio host Andy Slater tweeted on Friday.

The 29-year-old slugger, whose nickname is The Big Bear, drove to a Miami-area police station to report the incident, Slater said.

Genesis was arrested on domestic battery charges following a two-week investigation. She pleaded not guilty and was given an order to stay away from her husband.
