#Bow Wow Has To Remind Fans ‘Beef’ With Soulja Boy Is All Fun & Games

On Tuesday (June 8), Bow Wow took to Twitter to ease the minds of many fans who think there’s an issue with him and Soulja Boy. According to Bow Wow, they like to drag each other on the regular. 

“Please get this clear,” Bow Wow opened his tweet. “Soulja is my brotha for life. We will never in life beef. This is fun and games. I see fans like awww man here they go…. thats my dawg and thats why we can bag on each other the way we do. You guys have nothing to worry about.”

Bow Wow threw one of the first shots ahead of the highly-anticipated bout when he made fun of Soulja Boy for putting up a picture of his current girlfriend on Instagram. Soulja Boy took a while to give a proper response but did so after Bow Wow dissed his hairline. 

There still is no date announced for the upcoming battle, and many believed the Verzuz wasn’t going to happen. However, Swizz Beatz had to confirm it during an interview with DJ Quick Silva and Dominique Da Diva on the Quick Silva Show.

“We ain’t get into the date yet; they got excited, which I’m happy [about],” Swizz Beatz said. “I love to see when people get excited and it’s organic. Everything don’t have to be formal all the time, you know? So, we’re gonna roll out a whole calendar that’s gonna show you the next five-plus Verzuz.”
