Special effects designer Adam Savage of “Mythbusters” fame opens the trailer perfectly by saying, “When people look at films that are super-beloved, and they hear stories about the difficulties or tragedies that happen on set, they then go on to ascribe that production as ‘cursed.'” While “Cursed Films” excels at breaking down the urban legends surrounding so-called cursed productions, the most fascinating aspect has been the psychological examination of how so many people across the globe and across timelines could wholeheartedly believe in something without verifiable fact.

Charles Manson, Voodoo curses, cannibalism, suicidal munchkins, demonic possession, organ failure, and even the Devil himself are just a few of the topics season 2 will be covering. While the full list of talking heads has yet to be revealed, the trailer shows that Bill Pullman, star of “The Serpent and the Rainbow” and cinema’s greatest president will be present to discuss his personal experiences on the set of the supposed cursed film.

“Cursed Films II” is streaming exclusively on Shudder, with the first episode on “The Wizard of Oz” premiering Thursday, April 7, 2022 with new episodes released weekly.
