If you own a phone made by Apple or Google, you can enable “back taps,” allowing you to launch apps, take screenshots, and more just by tapping the back of your device. Today, Samsung added this ability to its devices with a new Good Lock app module.

The company announced the RegiStar module for Good Lock on its Korean forum. While you can now use back taps and gestures like iPhone and Google users, there are some limitations. If your Samsung phone falls below 15% battery life, goes into sleep mode, or is locked, the new features won’t work.

Additional features of the RegiStar module include customization of the long-press and power button functions. You can now reprogram those with commands for taking screen captures, calling Google Assistant, toggling Live Caption, activating the flashlight, and more. You can also customize your settings menu, hide selected menu entries, and hide your Samsung account email.

Currently, the RegiStar module is only available for One UI 5 devices, including the Galaxy series smartphones and tablets.
