#Bob Dylan Is Bringing Back His “Theme Time” Radio Show

Between May 2006 and April 2009, Bob Dylan hosted a SiriusXM radio show called “Theme Time Radio Hour” where he played music, told jokes, recited poetry, shared taped messages from friends, and did pretty much whatever else he wanted to. Now, Dylan has announced its return.

The first installment since 2009, titled “Whiskey,” will air Monday, September 21 at 12pm ET in honor of Bourbon Heritage Month. According to a press release, the episode explores “how whiskey has shaped the world” and runs just under two hours.

The episode will debut on SiriusXM’s Deep Tracks channel, and it will later be made available on Bob Dylan’s website and the website for his personal brand of whiskey, Heaven’s Door. Heaven’s Door Whiskey has also announced a partnership with food banks across the country, donating a portion of proceeds to provide meals for people in need.

Earlier this year, Bob Dylan released Rough and Rowdy Ways, his first collection of new, original material in eight years.
