#Trapezium Anime Movie Adds Reina Ueda to Cast

The upcoming Trapezium anime movie will include Reina Ueda as Rinko Katori, one of the main characters of the story.

Last week, it was revealed that Hina Youmiya was playing the role of Kurumi Taiga. Asaki Yuikawa was announced as main heroine Yu Azuma at the time of the anime’s reveal, in December 2023.

Trapezium is an adaptation of the novel by Kazumi Takayama, who was at the time with the idol group Nogizaka46. The plot follows high school student Yu, who has her sights set on becoming an idol and imposes four conditions on herself in order to achieve her goal. The movie will begin screening in Japan on May 10.

The novel was serialized in KADOKAWA’s Da Vinci from 2016 to 2018, and a bunkoban version illustrated by Tae was published released 2018.
