“#Black Dresses share new album Forget Your Own Face”
Eight new tracks from the industrial-pop duo.
Nearly two years ago, Black Dresses broke up. A statement written by Ada Rook, the industrial-pop group’s co-founder, blamed “invasion of privacy and harassment” from so-called fans and critics targeting Devi McCallion, the band’s other half. The not-reunion continues today with another new Black Dresses project, an eight-track release called Forget Your Own Face. Dripping with misanthropy and equally venomous self-loathing, Forget Your Own Face is a welcome return for the panic attack rave-for-one sounds of Black Dresses. Listen below.
