#Billie Eilish new song ‘Your Power,’ teases ‘NDA’ in new album

Billie Eilish, newly blonde, is back in action with her new single, “Your Power.” The tune is off of the 19-year-old songstress’s newest album “Happier Than Ever,” which is dropping July 30.

“Try not to lose your power,” she whispers ethereally in the dreamy track featuring acoustic guitar. Eilish’s song release was also accompanied by a music video with picturesque views of sweeping mountains.

Eilish, who has seven Grammy awards, even said this tune is her best yet.

“This is one of my favorite songs i’ve ever written,” she wrote on Instagram. “I feel very vulnerable putting this one out because i hold it so close to my heart. This is about many different situations that we’ve all either witnessed or experienced. I hope this can inspire change. Try not to abuse your power.”

She teased her new record Tuesday on Instagram alongside a photo of the album artwork. “This [album] is my favorite thing I’ve ever created and I am so excited and nervous and EAGER for you to hear it,” Eilish exclaimed in her caption. “I can’t even tell you. i’ve never felt so much love for a project than i do for this one. hope you feel what I feel.”

The singer also teased fans with a snippet of the track on Wednesday along with a full tracklist for the forthcoming album. Despite being called “Happier Than Ever,” song titles listed in the preview she shared seem anything but, with names like “Everybody Dies,” and “NDA.”

The album cover showed off the “Ocean Eyes” singer rocking a short platinum blond ‘do, a beige sweater and light makeup. She also let some of her shoulders slip out from her sweater and showed off some skin.

The Grammy winner shocked fans last month when she showed off her new blond ‘do and fans went wild over the transformation. Back in December, the “Bad Guy” pop star said she was planning on changing her signature green and black hair to signal the “end of an era.” She then alluded to the fact that she had “announcements to make” and “some s–t to put out.”

Eilish also previously told Stephen Colbert in February that she’d recorded a new album in lockdown with her brother Finneas O’Connell.

While her music is somewhat cryptic, her song titles seem to touch upon her recent body image struggles and boy troubles. She recently dated Brandon “Q” Adams and split in 2019 after a year. Earlier this month, she was spotted getting cozy with actor Matthew Tyler Vorce in Santa Barbara.

Eilish alluded to having a secret boyfriend in her documentary, “Billie Eilish: The World’s a Little Blurry,” when she received a video call from her “first love” after her big Grammys win in 2020, though it’s unclear if the man on the other side of the phone is Vorce. She also touched upon how she would engage in self-harm and had depression in her early teens.

In October, she was photographed wearing a tank top and shorts in lieu of her usual attire and recalled the stream of hurtful comments that followed. “I think that the people around me were more worried about it than I was because the reason I used to cut myself was because of my body,” she told Vanity Fair about the trending photo. “To be quite honest with you, I only started wearing baggy clothes because of my body.”
