Now, three of Hip Hop’s finest MCs are being immortalized as Funko figures. As part of their new premium vinyl figure collection, dubbed “Funko Gold,” the Washington-based company has unveiled three new models of The Notorious B.I.G., Lil Wayne and Ice Cube.
Available as a 5-inch model or in a larger 12-inch size, Biggie’s “Funko Gold” figure finds him decked out in a matching white suit and brim hat, inspired by the one he started wearing in the mid-’90s. (All that’s missing is his black cane.)
Meanwhile, Lil Wayne’s figure takes fans back to his Tha Carter III days, featuring the sideways red cap, white vest and red leather waistcoat he wore on his “A Milli” single cover.
Lastly, Ice Cube rocks one of his signature all-black button-up outfits, complete with a black cap, Chuck Taylors and, of course, his menacing scowl.
Unlike Funko’s popular Pop! bobblehead-style figures, Biggie, Wayne and Cube’s “Funko Gold” vinyl figures are more lifelike, head-to-toe models, perfect for fans who prefer a less cartoon-y touch.
Rap heads looking to get their hands on the figures can pre-order them exclusively via Walmart before they hit Funko’s official website later this year. All three figures retail for $9.98 each, with Biggie’s 12-inch model costing $29.96.
This isn’t Funko’s first foray into Hip Hop; the company has previously issued Pop! bobblehead versions of Biggie, Lil Wayne, 2Pac, Eazy-E, Migos, Post Malone, Logic and Run-DMC.
