Right on cue, Disney+ is now streaming LEGO Star Wars Terrifying Tales, its oh-so-spooky animated Halloween special. Disney had previously teased the special on Twitter in August, but it’s now time to grab some snacks, curl up with a blanket, and press play.

As you probably guessed, the special focuses on the Dark Side of the Force. It’s set just after The Rise of Skywalker movie in Vader’s castle on Mustafar and follows Poe Dameron and BB-8 as they make an emergency landing there.

On the ghostly planet, the two heroes encounter Graballa the Hutt and Graballa’s mechanic, who come across one of Vader’s loyal followers, Vaneé. They then enter Vader’s castle and are told some verrrryyy spooky tales about a variety of grim figures in that universe.

What’s really scary, however, is the dark force that’s lurking deep within the haunting castle and about to break free. The characters will all have to work together, despite their differences, to escape alive. Sounds like the perfect seasonal movie to watch with the whole family, right?

And don’t worry, if you’re looking for a Halloween thriller that’s, well, actually terrifying, check out our list of 31 horror movies to watch this month. Keep the kiddos away from those flicks, though.
