“#Berserk Manga to Celebrate Its 30th Anniversary at Special Art Exhibition in Winter 2021”

Japanese publisher Hakusensha announced today that a special event "Dai Berserk-ten" (Big Berserk Exhibition) to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Kentaro Miura's internationally popular dark fantasy manga Berserk is scheduled to be held at Ikebukuro Sunshine City's Exhibition Hall A in Tokyo from January 30 to February 15, 2021.

The memorial art exhibition will include:

"Berserk Chronicles" – The events and the main characters' trends in the story are introduced with the original manga drawings and chronological panels.
"Cover Art Collection" – All of the cover arts of the 40 volumes are displayed.
"Famous dialogues and scenes" & "Character Directory" – The iconic dialogues and scenes are introduced with their original manga drawings.
Displays of three-dimensional objects and dioramas of the famous landmarks, real-size character statues, and many more.

Also, a crowdfunding campaign for a giant Zodd statue to display at the venue is launched for a goal of 10 million yen (about 94,475 US dollars) today. It is going to be almost the same size as he is portrayed in the story (He is 350cm-tall when he is in his apostle form according to "Berserk Official Guidebook" published by Hakusensha in September 2016). Those who support the campaign will receive original limited goods as a return gift. The crowdfunding is scheduled to be closed at 23:59 on October 31 (JST).
